Five Western Australian entries make the shortlist for the 43rd AWARD Awards

Finalists for the 43rd AWARD Awards have been announced today with five entries from Western Australia making the cut. These are now in the running for higher honours at the live-stream award ceremony on Friday 20 May 2022 – 1pm Perth time.

 

Wunderman Thompson Perth has three finalists  this year – in the radio category for their West Australian Ballet “Dracula at Crown” campaign and individually for the “Bloody Mary” spot from the same series. They are also a finalist for “The Cold Campaign” in the Purpose/Charity category. Block Branding are a finalist in the Craft – Typography category for their “The Avocado Collective” work and in the Photography for Design category for Karrinyup Fresh Market & Cafe Terrace.

From 16-18 August, AWARD will also host ‘This Way Up’: Australia’s Advertising Festival of Creativity – a three-day feast of events in Sydney that will celebrate the very best in creative thinking in Australia and around the world. An in-person cocktail function will be held as part of the festival to celebrate this year’s AWARD Award winners. The Special Awards categories will also be announced at the festival, with more detail announced in coming weeks.
