Equilibrium welcomes Lavinia Thurairatnam and Scott Forrest to their team

Digital agency, Equilibrium has strengthened its senior ranks with the appointments of Lavinia Thurairatnam as Head of Client Partnerships and Scott Forrest as Head of Digital Marketing.

 

Thurairatnam is an integrated digital, marketing and advertising specialist, with over 20 years’ experience in multinational agency networks, working across a wide range of industries, categories & markets.

In her previous role, she was Chief Client Partner at Leo Burnett, Melbourne, leading a fully integrated team across Strategy and Customer Experience, Creative, Digital and Media.

Thurairatnam said: “I was drawn to Equilibrium’s obvious strengths, particularly in UX/CX, however it was the people, agency culture and commitment to the highest standards of delivery, that really sealed the deal.”

Forrest is a marketing, eCommerce & digital strategist with more than 20 years’ experience in digital marketing and was most recently the Digital Marketing and Global eCommerce Director with Perth-based, ASX listed, “hearables” brand, Nuheara.

He has built and sold two digital marketing agencies and in between has helped grow other agencies, as well as working client-side in senior marketing management roles in New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia.

“I’ve been aware of Equilibrium’s outstanding reputation for many years, and now with the opportunity to join the team, I’m excited to use my skills and experience to develop and deepen the digital performance services across an incredible blue-chip client base,” he said.

Equilibrium Managing Director, Warren Gibbs, said recruiting the best and brightest talent had become increasingly tough in what is a perfect storm of strong demand for services, a super tight labour market and the challenges linked to Covid-related absenteeism.
