Digital Loop was front-and-centre at one of the biggest entertainment events of the year at the 2024 Shure Rolling Stone Music Awards last week. The event, powered by The Brag Media brought together some of Australia’s best media publisher brands and clients, Digital Loop were able to create sponsorship rights and branding opportunities for their clients Shure and JMC Academy, who stood alongside the likes of Crowded House, Dom Dolla and Tones & I for a fantastic night of entertainment.

Hosted once again by Alex Dyson, the night saw awards handed out for Best Single (Peach PRC), Best New Artist (Dom Dolla), Best Record (The Teskey Brothers) and an extra special Rolling Stone Icon Award to rock legends Crowded House. Neil Finn, accepting the award on behalf of the band, followed by an exclusive acoustic performance. Other performances on the night included Angus & Julia Stone and Aussie Hip Hop ledgend Thatboykwame

Overall, it was a fantastic night for Digital Loop, their clients, agencies and publishers, as founder Chris Coufos noted. He said: “Many clients and agencies have been impressed by the ability to scale their messages across multiple digital platforms, without the huge package buys traditionally expected of the category.”

Coufos added: “Entertainment is not a single-demographic solution. We span interests across every audience segment, niche interest or mainstream demographic. Events like the Shure Rolling Stone Awards just shows what’s possible when brands work with our publishers in an integrated and more sophisticated way. Our hope for clients is that they push the market more to come up with innovative ways too use us and our publishers, and ultimately think bigger about what’s possible in the market.”

The new publisher acquisitions brings Digital Loop entertainment publisher networks to 13, with hundreds of titles sitting under these pillars.
