Damon Pattinson launches Design Republik
Damon Pattinson, former CD of The White Room advertising agency has launched Design Republik, Perth’s newest on-demand, subscription design service.
“Over the years, I noticed smaller businesses just couldn’t get a look-in at great design without getting hit with high costs, either from agencies or from quality freelancers,” said Pattinson. “And other design services, including online DIY and design marketplaces, were charging for revisions, being off-brand, providing low quality work, surprise charges – it was mind-boggling.”
Pattinson believes previously there was really nowhere for these businesses to go to get quality branding that wouldn’t hurt their bottom line or frustrate their already busy workflows.

Design Republik operates with a monthly flat-rate fee starting from $499, and businesses get access to their own professional designer ready to hit the ground running and slot into their team.
