Curling WA partners with Concept On for rebrand

Curling WA is getting a facelift via Perth branding agency Concept On following a competitive tender process that went to a few agencies.

Josh Grapes, Concept On’s sales & marketing director, says: “We’re really excited to work this rebrand, repositioning Curling WA to support their member growth and future funding opportunities. We’ve been to a come-and-try curling day and met the organisation and the volunteers who run it and all are so warm and welcoming. We’re grateful to support this friendly organisation.”

Curling WA hope to use this rebrand to further cement their legitimacy as the premier curling organisation in Australia, with the final aim to support them in securing investment to build their very own dedicated curling facility.

Currently, Curling WA hosts their meets from the Cockburn ice arena, but with a dedicated facility can ensure the ice is kept to professional, competitive curling standards.

If you ever had dreams of getting to the Olympics, Curling WA chairman Andrew Walke says it’s highly possible in curling: “The sport has a low barrier of entry. It’s easy to get into and getting to the Olympics isn’t as farfetched as it seems. Curling is the ultimate family-friendly sport. Where else can you play on the same team as your partner and kids playing a unique, strategic and athletic game, and still have a good chance of winning?”
