Chevron’s ‘Action for Activ day’ in partnership with OMD WA and Nova raises $310,000 for West Australians living with a disability.
OMD WA facilitated the partnership between Nova and their client Activ to create ‘Action for Activ day’ and can’t thank the team enough for all the hard work that was involved.
On Tuesday the 20th of June Activ took over Nova FM in Western Australia with all the presenters pushing for people to donate and calling out key donations on air.
This included a $100,000 donation from Eastcourt and every donation was matched by campaign partner Chevron.
OMD WA’s Client Lead, Jodie Traynor, said:“Action for Activ Day Is a special moment for Activ & Nova that has only been possible thanks to a shared commitment to helping our community; I am very proud of what we have been able to achieve together”.
Michael Van Oudtshoorn from Activ, said to OMD: “You and your team’s dedication, innovation, and proactive participation have built a mountain of success, soaring far beyond every lofty peak we had envisioned. You’ve demonstrated that when it comes to driving change and mobilising support, OMD WA’s brilliance truly stands tall.”
Nova 93.7 Commercial Director, Antonell Doyle, said: “This is probably one of the most heartening outcomes in recent memory. What Activ do for our communities across Western Australia is absolutely essential and these donations will go very far indeed.”
OMD WA will also be taking part in the Chevron city to surf for Activ and you can donate here.
