Beauty And The Geek launched last night and rated Perth’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39, leading the 9 Network locally to win Sunday with ALL key demos and Total People.
The immediate appeal of the show was also bolstered by Nine Perth’s latest co-promotion with Mix 94.5 breakfast, “Beauty Geek Trivia”. The watch-listen-win mechanic encourages cross platform audience growth across television and radio, whilst giving audiences the opportunity to win a share of $10,000 across two big weeks.
The host of Beauty And The Geek, Sophie Monk, was actively involved in the campaign’s TV and radio spots by providing VO, which she recorded at her home during Sydney lockdown. With the inability to travel to an external recording studio, Sophie candidly shared her improvised home set-up on her social media, which showed her ingeniously recording the campaign lines under a blanket to help reduce echo and reverb.
Beauty Geek Trivia’s first day of contesting was this morning, with Pete Matt and Kymba on Mix 94.5 breakfast giving away the first $1,000 to a lucky listener, Joanna from Waterford.
