Bonfire launches Kindling – A New Competition to Ignite Young Creatives with a chance to concept and design CBWA’s 2020 Awards magazine cover
Today marks the launch of an exciting new competition, Kindling, aimed at giving young WA creatives a platform to exhibit their artistic flair, receive commercial recognition, plus a chance to win lucrative prizes and exposure.
Local digital performance agency, Bonfire, has been the creative impetus behind Campaign Brief WA’s Awards covers for the last four years.
The agency, via its creative partner Jarrod Fuller (Zendoke.com), has pushed boundaries, and elevated the possibilities of the print medium for the illustrious cover editions.
This year, they’ve secured the cover again, but have changed tack by launching Kindling in conjunction with industry partners.
It’s an initiative aiming to give young creatives and designers a chance to see their work in the real world.
Bonfire is offering a media placement on the cover of the Oasis edition of Campaign Brief WA magazine – a great chance for a young creative or designer to show the industry what they’ve got!
Everyone in the advertising industry will see the winning entry in the real world on the evening of the Oasis Ball. Plus the winner will also take home a tidy prize of $1000. The runner up, won’t be left empty handed, with a second prize of $500.
Entries will be judged by a panel of esteemed industry experts including Bonfire’s Head of Marketing, Rene LeMerle; The Communications Council’s WA State Manager, Melissa Vella; Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) President, Josh Edge; and Campaign Brief’s Advertising Manager Kaye Guthrie.
Kindling is open to all Western Australian students and young professionals who have less than one year of industry experience in a design, art direction or creative copywriting role.
Entries are open now and close at 11:59pm on February 28, 2020. Winners to be announced in early March.
