Block leads WA finalists at 2020 AGDA Awards

Six West Australian companies have finalists at the 202 Australian Graphic Design Association Awards.

Block leads the way with eight – including four for Black Swan State Theatre Company and one each for City of Mandurah, Kommunity, Place Intelligence and Writing WA.

Block designer Joseph Dennis has five for personal projects Assemble Building Co. (1), Till Death (2), Westralia Typeface and Villanelle Typeface (1 each).

TwofromTwo has three: 100 Cups by Fiori, The Good Avocado and Evolution.

The Brand Agency has two: Hearth and My Dad the Secret Superhero.

Lateral Aspect has one for AQWA, as does 303 MullenLowe Perth for Mermates.

WA was represented with four Jury Members this year:
• Alby Furfaro – Head of Design, 303MullenLowe
• Brett Layton – Principal, TwofromTwo
• Dan Agostino –  Head of Design, The Brand Agency
• Marcie Schneider – Graphic Designer, Lateral Aspect

The winners are due to be announced online in the first week of December.
