BLOCK GROWS ITS TEAM BY THREE, WITH JANE JONES JOINING AS DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES

Block has added three key hires to its client service team: Jane Jones joins as Director of Client Services, Johanna Borger as Account Manager and Fernanda Fauzi as Account Executive.

Block is deepening its account service capabilities under the leadership of Jane Jones (left), who joins as Director of Client Services.

Jones brings formidable experience to Block having worked as National Marketing Manager of iiNet, Marketing Manager of Celebrate WA and Group Business Director at 303Lowe. She has spent over 20 years working with a breadth of organisations competing in extremely competitive categories.

“It’s such an exciting time to be joining Block. The diversity of the problems it solves for truly inspirational clients is staggering – anything from brand design to organisational transformation to helping clients prepare their businesses for sale. I can’t wait to get started,” said Jones.

Angela Palandri, General Manager of Block, added: “Over the last two years, our clients have been challenging us to move beyond traditional advertising services to help them continually reinvent their brands and businesses. This means investing in leaders who are smart, creative, curious, commercially-led, data-driven and who care about the work. Jane has all of these traits in spades.”

Johanna Borger (centre) is also joining as Account Manager. She moves home to Perth from creative agency Haygarth in London, where she was a Senior Account Executive and Copywriter across projects for Schweppes, L’Oreal, Ferrero Rocher, Vodafone, Boursin and more.

Fernanda Fauzi (right) has also joined Block as Account Executive. She joins from OKMG and Cedar Woods Properties, where she was a Graphic Designer.

The hires cap off a big year for Block, having picked up five Finalists, five Bronze, four Silver and one Gold Skulls at the Perth Advertising & Design Club’s Skulls Awards, making it the second-most awarded agency at the show.

The agency also won five Finalists and five Merits at last month’s AGDA Awards.
