Block and TheFulcrum.Agency support Salted Pretzels: A Blue Room performance by first nations storyteller Cezera Critti-Schnaars

Block and TheFulcrum.Agency (TF.A) are proud to co-sponsor Salted Pretzels: a hilarous and heart-busting production written and performed by WAAPA-trained, Noongar and Greek creative Cezera Critti-Schnaars and directed by Emily McLean.

The performance tells the story of Cassius and Dom’s first date. They match online, in classic millennial fashion, then meet up to see if they can bring the connection to the real world – something they may have managed if not for the two people seated at the next table over. This modern celebration of identity, self-discovery and authenticity interrogates the complexities of falling in love at the messiest of times.

Salted Pretzels is the second recipient of a sponsorship agreement set up by Block and TF.A through The Blue Room Theatre to support the development of independent, local First Nations artists. The first – Ian Michaels’ directorial debut of the The Bleeding Tree in 2021 – went on to join The Black Swan Theatre’s 2023 season.
