Berlin picks up Murdoch University account

Following an account review process, Murdoch University has appointed independent creative agency Berlin to their account. The appointment ends the client’s long term relationship with previous agency, VML Perth.
Berlin will be leading the brand’s strategy, creative and campaign development to strengthen domestic and international student recruitment efforts. New work is underway on a piece due to land before the middle of the year.
Founded in 1974 as a bold alternative to Western Australia’s university establishment, Murdoch University has long been recognised for its commitment to conservation and the environment, social justice and inclusion. Partnering with Berlin, the university aims to build on the momentum of its brand positioning – Ngala kwop biddi. Building a brighter future, together.
Neil Cullingford, Director of Marketing & Communications at Murdoch University, says: “This is an exciting time for the university, and we’re thrilled to partner with the team at Berlin. Beyond their experience in tertiary education, what truly stood out was their pro-social and proenvironmental mission – perfectly aligned with Murdoch’s commitment to changing lives and shaping a better society.
John Linton, Managing Partner at Berlin, added: “In a world filled with so much negativity, a place that fosters hope and brings the community together to build a brighter future is exactly what we need. Murdoch University is the perfect partner for the kind of agency we’re striving to build.”
