As a key sponsor of Perth’s Optus Stadium, Bankwest worked with their bespoke agency, UNION (in collaboration with The Brand Agency), to create a one-of-a-kind activation at the recent Manchester United vs Perth Glory and Manchester United vs Leeds United games.
Chants are a big part of any European soccer game. To get fans in the mood for these showpiece games, an activation featuring a 12-person choir chanting famous soccer songs was created. Fans from all sides joined in with the Bankwest chanting choir. From young children to adults, the crowds chanted their way into the stadium.
The activation included the prominent Human Vending Machine and over 11,000 chant-a-phones being handed out across the two successful events by brand ambassadors.
