AWARD School Application Workshop hosted at Rare; National Virtual Workshop to be held Wednesday October 28

On 17 October, Liz Hammond (Creative Director, Rare and WA AWARD School Head) and Melissa Vella (WA State Manager, Advertising Council Australia) hosted the AWARD School Application Workshop at the Rare offices in Murray Street.

A total of 18 AWARD School hopefuls received Liz’s top tips, tricks and advice to be able to put their best application forward for the AWARD School 2021 intake. Additionally, they were taken through idea generation techniques and a number of practical exercises to get their creatives juices really flowing.

A special thanks to Alida Henson (Freelance Copywriter) and the other AWARD School Alumni: Simon Mullins, Devon Jackson and Robert Mead who came along to help out and to share their own AWARD School experiences and give their invaluable advice to the group.

If you missed the workshop, and are considering applying for AWARD School, then make sure you don’t miss the first-ever AWARD School Virtual Application Workshop to be held at 3pm WST on Wednesday 28 October.

You’ll join prospective AWARD School students from across the country and benefit from a wealth of knowledge provided by a stellar line-up of speakers.
