AWARD School 2022 graduation night Wednesday 10th August celebrates WA’s next gen creatives

As AWARD School draws to a close for another year, WA’s advertising and marketing community is invited to welcome the next generation of creative talent and enjoy an exhibition of the students’ top work at the AWARD School Graduation Night on August 10.

Hosted by AWARD School WA Head and Rare Creative Director Liz Hammond and ACA WA State Manager Melissa Vella, the night will be held at Perth’s Flour Factory and will include the much-anticipated announcement of WA’s top AWARD School student for 2022.

The winning student will go into the running to become AWARD School’s national top student for the year, as part of a judging process that involves finalists from all states.

“AWARD School’s Graduation Night is set to be a lot of fun, a chance to see some of the fantastic work created by this year’s students and more importantly, a chance for our creative community to come together to recognise and support Western Australia’s up-and-coming talent,” says Vella.

“There’s a reason why most creative departments are made up of AWARD School alumni and that’s because AWARD School is one of the best creative courses in the country,” she said.

AWARD School WA Head Liz Hammond said that AWARD School has a strong heritage, helping to prepare and upskill creative talent since the early 80s.

Hammond said: “AWARD School, Australia’s pre-eminent course for aspiring creatives, is run by passionate industry leaders to ensure creativity in advertising, marketing and other industries not only survives but thrives, especially when there are so many other attractive career pathways.”

“This year’s cohort of students have produced some outstanding work and have proven themselves to be skilled creative thinkers, and we look forward to welcoming everyone in the industry to congratulate them on completing one of the toughest creative courses around.”
