Athlon expands into APAC with new Perth office to service digital transformation boom

Having established itself in London, New York, Toronto and Sofia, Athlon has announced a new office in Perth to service a growing demand for digital transformation services in the APAC region.

Sitting within the same time zone as one of Asia’s biggest tech hubs, Singapore, and well within reach of the rest of Australia, Athlon’s digital innovation and design services will be extended to the APAC region.

With digital transformation spend in the region is predicted at over $375.6bn in 2020, the company believes the region is brimming with established and burgeoning tech companies.

Equally, Western Australia’s resources industry is quietly establishing itself as the global leader in the use of innovative autonomous technology. Perth itself boasts a robotics industry so sophisticated it has drawn the attention of NASA. Driverless cars and trains are working on an industrial scale.

“Our arrival in Perth allows us to provide on-the-ground digital product design and branding,” said Sam Del-Prete, Creative Director and principal of the new office. “We’re excited to leverage our digital experience from the UK and U.S. markets”.

Ranzie Anthony, Athlon’s Chief Creative Officer added “We’re driven by design, rooted in technology, data and business strategy. APAC is a formidable hub of technology innovation. We’re a perfect fit to service the growing demand for leading design thinking in the region.”

To better understand how this global design agency is harnessing data to transform business online, they are offering a show and tell session with senior directors.
