Moonsail celebrates first birthday in style

It has been a year (and a bit) since Moonsail opened its doors, and they chose to celebrate the moment in style with a party on Heritage’s new rooftop bar last Friday evening. It was a fun gathering of familiar faces, client partners, colleagues, production partners and suppliers, all enjoying great food and drinks, including cans of ‘Moon’s Ale’ – a unique collaboration with one of the agency’s client partners Bright Tank Brewing Co.

Paul Coghlan said: “It was good to pull ourselves up and out of the bustle for an evening and just pause, reflect and enjoy what has been a solid first year and a bit for our Moonsail crew. We have incredible clients and support from a wide group of people. It means a lot to have so many people backing us in.”

It has been a big 2022 for Moonsail. Founded by creative leaders Paul Coghlan and Matt Nankivell in 2021, the agency has grown from strength to strength off the back of their ‘Helping globally-minded brands grow’ philosophy, winning local, national and international clients, hiring new staff and taking out Campaign Brief’s Challenger Agency of the Year 2022 title. They’re also closing out 2022 with the news that they’ve been awarded the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia creative account.

Nankivell said: “There is momentum, that’s for sure. The Moonsail crew is growing, our client portfolio is growing, and we are surrounded by great industry support. 2023 will be a big one.”
