96fm celebrates 40 years with $40,000 cash prize plus Volkswagen giveaway on Botica’s Bunch

96FM Perth celebrated its 40th anniversary milestone on Friday with a live broadcast event at The Camfield on Burswood Peninsula.

 

It was the culmination of 96FM’s 40 Years in 40 Days celebration that included reliving some seriously nostalgic 96FM moments. Listeners and friends of the station joined 96FM breakfast hosts Fred Botica and Lisa Shaw for the event.

Special guests included inaugural West Coast Eagles captain Ross Glendinning, former Fremantle FC captain Matthew Pavlich, award-winning TV News reporter Alison Fan, comedian Jon Pinder and 96FM hosts Mark ‘Smiley’ Pascoe and Russell Clarke.

For the past 40 days, one lucky 96FM listener per day has won a Fender Squier Guitar from Concept Music, along with an invitation to the event. These 40 listeners joined the 96FM team for a celebration that saw one enviable winner, Kim from Oakford, take home $40,000 cash and a brand-new Volkswagen T-Roc 140TSI Sport.
