7NEWS Perth announces team for 2026 Chevron City to Surf for genU
The Seven Network’s 7NEWS Perth presenters Angela Tsun, Ryan Daniels, Samantha Jolly and Amelia Broun will lace up their sneakers and join thousands of West Australians for this year’s Chevron City to Surf for genU, as Seven West Media WA marks its third consecutive year as a major media partner.
The much-loved community event returns on Sunday, 30 August, bringing together participants of all ages and abilities to raise vital funds supporting West Australians living with disability and disadvantage.
It will be a family affair for Ryan Daniels, who will tackle the four-kilometre run alongside his wife, Kelly, and their children, Avery and William.
“My wife, the kids and I can’t wait to get out there together. It’s one of those events where everyone can take part, regardless of age or ability, and know they’re supporting something that really matters,” he said.
“The atmosphere is always fantastic, and it’s a great reminder of how generous the WA community is.”
Angela Tsun will also be joined by her daughters, Mimi and Zoe, highlighting the event’s family-friendly spirit and inclusive focus.
“As a mum, I love events that get families outdoors and spending quality time together. Being able to do that while supporting a cause that helps so many people across WA makes City to Surf even more special,” she said.
