2020 AWARD Awards to be announced via virtual show live streamed on Friday, 12 June at 3pm AEST

The 2020 AWARD Awards will be announced in just a week’s time on Friday 12 June at 3.00pm AEST.

For the first time in AWARD Awards history, winners will be revealed via a live streamed virtual show following the forced cancellation of the traditional awards due to COVID-19.

Says Cam Blackley, AWARD chair: “It seems like a lifetime ago when we had to call off this year’s AWARD Awards show, but finally we’re getting to the pointy end of proceedings and almost ready to unveil the best of the best.

“The virtual show on Friday is a great op to grab a drink, watch the best work in the region rise and celebrate with a few cheeky social posts.”

The virtual AWARD Awards show follows the virtual judging round, which finishes today after two weeks of intense activity by the AWARD Awards juries, and the Grand Award judging which will be held on Tuesday 9 June.

To add to the excitement of the virtual awards show on Friday, the Tipsy app will once again come into play, following its popular AWARD Awards debut last year from creators Special Group and Nakatomi.
