11 creative professionals to represent Australia on D&AD Awards 2023 juries

D&AD has today announced the judges for the 61st annual Awards programme including 11 from Australia.

 

This year, 71 professionals from across the Asia Pacific region have been selected to join the juries, dedicated to recognising and celebrating the world’s best creative work from the past year.

Representing Australia on the juries is:

Australian expats on various juries include Michael Stanish, executive producer, Ground Control, UK (Casting); John Mescall, global executive creative director, McCann Worldgroup USA (Collaborative); Lauren Pleydell-Pearce, ECD, PwC UK (Commerce); Ellen Fromm, associate creative director, AKQA Amsterdam (Creative Transformation); Wayne Deakin, global principal creative, Wolff Olins, UK (Digital Design); Reed Collins, CCO APAC, Ogilvy APAC (Direct) and Elise Butt, editor, Trim Editing, ARC EDIT, London (Editing).

Live judging will take place over four days from 7-10 May at The Old Truman Brewery, London, in conjunction with a series of creative excellence insight panels, keynote talks, workshops, and an exhibition of the shortlisted work as part of the returning D&AD Festival. The D&AD Awards Ceremony will be held as the culminating event of D&AD Festival at BFI Southbank in London across two nights on 24 and 25 May, with a day programme of keynote talks on 25 May.

The juries for this year’s Awards welcome participation from some of the Asia Pacific’s leading creative thinkers, including: Eugene Cheong, Chief Creative Officer, DDB Asia; Kitty Lun, Director, Creative Shop Greater China, Meta; John Mescall, Global Executive Creative Director, McCann Worldgroup; Natalie Lam, Chief Creative Officer, APAC & MEA Publicis Groupe; Noopur Datye, Type Designer / Co-founder, Ek Type; Ronald Ng, Global CCO, MRM; Seiichi Saito, Panoramatiks Principal    Abstract Engine Co., Ltd.; and Tara Ford, Group Chief Creative Officer, The Monkeys.

D&AD Awards 2023 are now open for entry. The deadline to save 20% is 8 February, and the final deadline to enter is 15 March. Freelancers and small businesses can save an additional 25% on submissions.
