Wunderman Thompson’s Shrek Pistols wins ogre the crowd at Youngbloods’ Battle of the Bands

Youngbloods’ Bullshit Battle of the Ad Bands returned to The Court earlier this month with another series of smashing performances to a crowd of over 200 industry people.

 

The event was sponsored by Triple M, Sandbox, Soundbyte, MDS and Social Meteor, with five bands facing off for Perth advertising’s most coveted prize (debatably).

This year’s bands were:
The Brand Agency – The Weekday
7 West Media – West Club 7
Wunderman Thompson – Shrek Pistols
Rare – Unprepared & Musically Impaired
303 MullenLowe – Pitch Therapy

Judges Tim Count, Brad Habib and Clint Logan scored Wuderman Thompson’s ‘Shrek Pistols’ as the winner, closely followed by ‘Unprepared & Musically Impaired’ from Rare.
