Wunderman Thompson celebrates their new office space on St Georges Terrace
After an outstanding eight years at their Hay Street address, with many pitch wins and many celebrations, Wunderman Thompson’s forty-plus staff have moved to St Georges Terrace, Perth.
Wunderman Thompson cemented the move a few months ago with a ceremoniously warm and intimate event held in the new space with current and past clients and close industry partners, enjoying sunset drinks and nibbles.
Damiano Di Pietro, Perth General Manager, Wunderman Thompson, said: “Nothing says, ‘watch this space’ quite like a new office and the new energy it brings. We have big visions for our agency and our ambitious clients, and this move is the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the thriving business community of Perth. A community where we continue to grow deep connections, build innovative partnerships, and inspire new possibilities for our clients. We wholeheartedly invite all our clients and industry partners to embrace this space as a collaborative haven to come and create their own creative pursuits. We even have a ’quiet zone’ where our staff and clients can retreat for uninterrupted, focused work or take a VC without disturbing those around them.”
Wunderman Thompson’s Senior EX planner, Claire Burnham, said: “Rituals and routines are a valued culture signal for us. They create a sense of belonging and connection which is important to remember during any period of change. As part of the move, we asked the team to share the rituals and routines they valued the most or wanted to improve so we could incorporate them into the new office setup and create a sense of belonging from day one. An all-agency co-lab session allowed us to work together on designing new solutions or making small tweaks to existing pre-loved rituals.”
The new space boasts many breakout rooms and quiet booths, views split between the Swan River, CBD and the canopy of old heritage trees, a locally made terrazzo kitchen, as well as ‘end of trip’ bathrooms serving up fresh towels every morning for the runners and riders in the office.
The move and new space reflects Wunderman Thompson’s growth and ambition to be an employer of choice, by offering staff, clients and talent a purpose-built space where careers can thrive.
