WA Screen Culture Awards 2024 – special category submissions extended

The 2024 WA Screen Culture Awards have reached an impressive milestone, receiving over 51 hours of content – the highest number of submissions in the event’s history. This exciting development highlights the vibrant and diverse talent within the West Australian screen industry, which continues to grow and innovate. As judging is currently underway, they eagerly anticipate the announcement of nominees, celebrating the exceptional work being produced across the state.

 

In addition to the regular categories, WA Screen Culture Awards are extending submissions for their two special categories, now open until November 14. This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to shine a spotlight on individuals and projects that have made significant contributions to screen culture in WA. they encourage everyone to submit nominations for those they believe deserve recognition, helping us honor the creativity and dedication that fuel our local screen industry. The WA Screen Culture Awards not only celebrate achievements but also inspire the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers in Western Australia.
