Kitchen Warehouse – Photographer
Are you a product photographer and retoucher who’s keen to join our vibrant, creative team? Do you also love food – cooking it, tasting it or sharing it? If so, we’d love you to contact us!
IN A NUTSHELL
We are a family-owned kitchenware business, headquartered in Perth but with stores and team members Australia-wide. Our sales are split 50/50 between our online store and our 25 bricks and mortar stores. We are passionate about cooking and entertaining and put a lot of thought and effort into the production and sourcing of the products we sell.
Beautiful product imagery for use on our website, in our emails and in other marketing channels is key to communicating what our business offers to our customers. That’s why we’re seeking a photographer to shoot (and retouch) our growing In house product range to ensure our customers have a world-class experience when they shop with us online.
You will work alongside a small but talented in-house creative team to take images that bring our products to life. This opportunity offers a change from the stress of agency roles and the unpredictability of freelance work. In this 4 day a week role, you’ll have use of a fully equipped studio, the support of a thoughtfully designed process, and an awesome team to work alongside.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE
• A strong understanding of studio photography and lighting including shiny kitchenware like stainless steel, glass and other pretty but tricky products
• 1-4 years of experience shooting e-commerce product photography
• Experience shooting with Canon tethered to Capture One in studio
• Professional level post-production and retouching – Photoshop
• The ability to work methodically and enjoy taking a project from start to finish
• An interest in AI and emerging technologies
IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK YOU MIGHT HAVE
• Photographed a new range of cookware, glassware or tableware for our website alongside some aspirational lifestyles & gifs in one of our various kitchen sets.
• Taste tested some of the delicious recipes we shoot.
• Worked with our Studio Lead to forward plan capacity, building out shot lists for the week ahead.
• Discussed new product releases and upcoming marketing plans with our marketing team
• Retouched product photography, received and implemented feedback from the team, and shared final assets with our ecomm and design teams.
• Taken a few of our products home with you to cook up a feast and put them to the test.
LOCATION
This 4 day a week job is based in our North Fremantle office, home of our Studio (equipped with lighting, stands, grips, etc).
