The Brand Agency – Senior Designer

About the role:
We are looking for Senior Designer in Perth who can help lead and develop an award-winning team. We’re looking for someone who knows strong brands aren’t built on “that’ll do” and they live in the real world, not in a style guide. Someone with dual specialities under their belt, who’s ready to add a third.

• Concept, develop and produce an exceptional standard of work across traditional, digital and environmental design experiences.

Responsibilities:
• Develop creative concepts and execute high-quality designs for branding, marketing materials, and campaigns.
• Work across a variety of mediums, including print (brochures, signage, and stationery) and digital (social media, web graphics, and email templates).
• Collaborate with the team to develop exciting brand solutions and bring fresh perspectives to client projects.
• Design and build beautiful and functional websites.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to ensure our work remains innovative and relevant.
Role Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a studio or agency environment.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to take on and apply constructive feedback and discuss designs with clients directly.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience working with Squarespace website builder.
• Proficient in large document set up and design (such as Annual Reports, Capabilities etc).
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver polished, professional designs.
Desirable Skills (not essential)
• Experience building and designing websites in WordPress.
• Photography/Videography experience.
• Basic understanding of SEO, social media platform operation & email marketing platforms such as MailerLite and/or Mailchimp.

• Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive, data-driven SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, technical) to significantly improve organic search rankings, drive qualified traffic, and increase conversions.
• Analyse user behaviour on client websites using analytics and UX tools (e.g., Hotjar, Clarity, Google Analytics) to provide actionable UX recommendations, optimising pathways for traffic generated by search campaigns.
• Develop and implement sophisticated CRM strategies (utilising Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) to enhance customer engagement, optimise lead nurturing, and improve customer retention, including strategic data segmentation and automated workflow creation.
• Oversee the strategic integration of data from diverse sources (advertising platforms, web analytics, CRM databases, client databases) to create a cohesive data ecosystem for comprehensive analysis and insightful reporting.

• Experience with data integration projects, including connecting different marketing platforms and data sources.
• Mandatory: Current Google Search Certifications (e.g., Google Ads Search Certification). Additional certifications in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho are highly advantageous.
• Competency with common Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) for minor website updates; basic HTML/CSS understanding is advantageous.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
