Rare – Senior Account Executive

Fast track yourself to Client Services Manager

So, we are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join Perth’s award winning and largest independent full-service creative advertising agencies. As the Senior Account Executive, you will work directly with our Group Business Director to coordinate and manage all types of work on behalf of clients. As well as provide assistance throughout your portfolio, department and the wider agency. You’ll liaise directly with your clients at all levels and help to deliver the projected and budgeted client billings and income, whilst providing added value to client work and agency systems. Your Responsibilities can include:

Client Relationships
• Engage in regular client contact and communication as required.
• Build a close and trusted working relationship with all of your clients.
• Ability to represent the agency professionally in social and professional situations with key externals.
• Provide added value in meetings through beneficial questions and input.

Workflow
Manage client jobs within Rare’s systems, including:

Accountability (Finance system)
• Creation of jobs
• Creation of supplier POs, estimates & invoices

Trello (Workflow management system)
• Creation of Trello cards & inputting all job details
• Inputting client feedback
• Ensuring cards are correctly labelled based on status of job (ie: with comms/ feedback ready for action/ etc)

Coordinate client meetings, including:
• Room setup
• Meeting Agendas
• Contact Reports
• Recording Meeting Notes
• Updating WIP

Liaise with media representatives and suppliers in order to book work.

Proofread work and effectively manage mark-ups and changes.

Prepare Creative & Production Briefs for projects & campaigns.

Recognise opportunities and take initiative for cost savings, added value and efficiencies.

Problem solve, actively recognise problems and offer potential solutions.

Actively participate in Creative and Production briefing meetings and reviews.

Administration Support
• Organise weekly internal WIPs/status meetings.
• Set up new projects and oversee project level finance.
• Support the Agency by undertaking Administration roles as the need arises.

Finance
• Liaise with media representatives and suppliers in order to source supplier quotes and prepare Purchase Orders in Accountability. (Seek your Manager’s approval for supplier quotes greater than $10,000)
• Prepare client estimates and draft invoices for approval.
• Coordinate client work ensuring effective delivery of agency billings, income and targeted business results.
• Assist with other financial matters as required, including Debtors, Budgets, 3-month Projections and Extended Projections.
• Assist with preparing and analysing monthly finance reports.
• Recognise and take initiative of new business opportunities with existing or potential clients.

New Business
• Perform daily checks for new tenders on the tender portals.
• Provide assistance with tenders where required to the New Business team.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team player with a natural flair for communication and relationship building. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a positive, solutions-focused mindset to everything they do. You’ll need to be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects at once – balancing workflow systems, financial processes, and client needs with efficiency and accuracy. A strong communicator, both written and verbal, you’re confident in client-facing roles and capable of representing the agency professionally in all settings. You’ll take initiative, spot opportunities for improvement, and aren’t afraid to ask the right questions to drive value. Skills & Experience
• We request that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
