Why this role exists
With a growing team of 9+, the founders seek a driven and experienced Head of Operations to take charge of daily operations, enabling strategic expansion into new channels and offerings.

Perth is OK! operates across two core streams:
• Organic content
• Commercial content

While the editorial and social teams drive high-performing stories and day-to-day output, they also work closely with the sales team to deliver commercial campaigns.

Client relationships are a critical part of our commercial engine, and we’re seeking someone with proven experience in managing and growing these relationships.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving media environment and can elevate and streamline our commercial delivery. The Head of Operations will ensure we seize bigger opportunities and execute them with precision and impact – strengthening our reputation with agencies and direct clients alike.

Core Responsibilities
Commercial Campaign Delivery
Own and oversee all major commercial campaigns from end to end – from planning and approvals to execution and delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value campaign clients, agency partners, and internal teams. Ensure commercial content meets client objectives, aligns with our brand standards, and is delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with Sales, Social, Editorial, and Production to ensure smooth cross-functional delivery of campaign assets. Focus on the commercial arm of the business, with responsibility for the success of paid partnerships and advertising campaigns.

People & Culture
Lead all HR processes (hiring, onboarding, engagement, reviews, exits). Foster a high-performance culture built on trust, diversity, and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with employment laws and address cultural concerns proactively.

Pod Leadership
Attend and support weekly functional meetings (Social, Sales, Editorial, Production). Align pods to quarterly KPIs, resolve resourcing conflicts, escalate only strategic issues to founders. Embed accountability and continuous improvement.

Growth Execution
Translate founder-level goals into executable projects that grow audience and revenue. Lead cross-functional go-to-market plans. Manage freelancers/vendors to deliver on time and within budget. Test and scale initiatives using data and ROI analysis.

External Relations
Represent the brand with clients, agencies, and media bodies. Support high-value sales opportunities and represent Perth is OK! at industry events. Resolve client escalations professionally, involving founders only when strategic.

Commercial Stewardship
Drive financial performance (P&L, budgeting, resource planning). Improve cost efficiency across platforms, pods, and suppliers. Deliver accurate, insightful reporting for founder decision-making.

Candidate Profile
• Senior leadership experience (GM, COO, Commercial Director, Head of Operations or similar) within media, publishing, or digital agency environments.
• Proven success growing revenue and scaling operations while safeguarding team culture.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across sales, creative, content, and operations.
• Confident spokesperson and presenter with strong industry presence.
• Deep understanding of digital content, ad yield, and social media-led campaigns.
• Commercially sharp, data-literate, and systems-savvy (HRIS, CRMs, project tools).
• Knowledge of Australian employment law and operational compliance.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Senior Account Manager (Agency) to join our team and take charge of growing media agency relationships and driving agency revenue through creative proposals and campaigns. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in the media agency landscape or media companies, looking to make a real impact in a thriving media business.

The Senior Account Manager (Agency) will play a key role in maintaining and growing relationships with agency clients. This individual will manage the entire client relationship lifecycle – from pitching and selling creative campaigns to overseeing integrated campaign delivery and reporting.

As a central player in the commercial engine, you will work with internal teams across Sales, Social, Editorial, and Production pods to deliver results that align with client objectives and Perth is OK!’s brand standards.

Core Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture agency relationships. Pitch and sell both reactive and proactive creative campaigns to meet client objectives. Inform & educate agency partners about the Perth is OK! audience, offerings, and campaign opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery. Provide clear, insightful post-campaign reporting to clients. Represent Perth Is OK! at networking events, ensuring our brand’s presence in the industry.

Campaign Management
Oversee all aspects of campaign delivery, from planning and approvals to execution. Ensure booking schedules are accurate, and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Manage high-value client accounts and their associated creative and strategic campaigns.

Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Social, Editorial, Production) to ensure smooth cross-functional delivery. Act as a mentor for junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

CRM and Reporting
Manage and update CRM system (HubSpot) with client data and campaign metrics. Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring campaigns meet client expectations and drive revenue.

Candidate Profile

The opportunity
Our Philanthropy team is growing! Be part of the excitement and coordinate our Donor Development programs, driving donor engagement and stewardship across the donor journey.

Based in Subiaco, this position is full-time. There will be a requirement to occasionally travel and work outside of regular business hours to deliver this program and support philanthropic activities with stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
• Coordinating and delivering the Donor Development programs including, Appeals, Regular Giving, Workplace Giving, General Donation Programs and other channels as identified
• Identifying revenue growth opportunities
• Delivering accurate, timely post campaign reports and analysis
• Supporting the Philanthropy team with support and donor events including logistics, assets and execution
• Maintaining and developing current and new processes to optimise program delivery
• Maintaining and updating supporter data in databases
• Implementing and updating regular relevant stakeholder communication plans
• Representing Cancer Council WA at appropriate meetings, seminars and other events

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• 2+ years’ experience in relationship management or a customer focussed role, preferably in the not-for-profit sector
• Advanced computer and keyboard skills – Microsoft Office Suite and other databases
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Experience in data segmentation, data analytics and reporting
• Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships with a genuine interest in meeting people
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail

With more than 1.6 million followers across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, we’re looking for a full-time Social Media Coordinator to help manage and grow our channels.

Working closely with our social, editorial and sales teams, this role goes beyond basic scheduling. You’ll be helping to shape how Perth is OK! shows up online each day, ensuring our platforms are engaging, community-focused, and aligned with our editorial voice.

We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, great at planning ahead, and deeply analytical. You’ll need to be comfortable tracking performance, spotting what works (and what doesn’t), and continually optimising our approach.

What you’ll be doing
● Collaborating with the team to develop weekly content plans across platforms
● Identifying and implementing reactive content opportunities based on local news and trending stories in the community
● Bringing news stories and editorial features to life on social media using graphics made in Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Canva
● Managing the day-to-day posting across selected channels using platform-native tools or scheduling platforms
● Running and monitoring paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Business Centre
● Monitoring post performance and using insights to refine our strategy and improve engagement
● Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing both sponsored and organic video shoots
● Help deliver on sponsored campaigns for some of Australia’s biggest brands, ensuring high-quality content production and alignment with campaign goals
● Foster strong connections with our audience by overseeing community engagement, ensuring a responsive and positive brand presence across platforms
● Participating in weekly meetings, sharing performance insights and contributing to team planning

What we’re looking for
● At least one year of full-time experience in a similar role, ideally in media or digital marketing (essential)
● Solid knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and how to create content that works on each
● Strong familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Business Centre
● Confidence using design tools like Illustrator, Canva, CapCut and Premier Pro
● Strong writing and editing skills, with great attention to detail
● Someone organised, analytical, proactive and full of ideas
● A genuine interest in WA – its people, stories and lifestyle
● A degree in journalism, marketing, communications, media or similar is preferred

The role is based in our Perth CBD office, with the option to work from home one day per week.
