Tickets now on sale for ‘Wonderment’, the 2024 PADC Skulls Awards – November 15th
Tickets are officially on sale for the Perth Advertising and Design Club’s 2024 Skulls Awards. Now in its 35th year, the skulls celebrate the best of Western Australia’s commercial creativity.
The Skulls Awards will be held on November 15th at the WA Museum Boola Bardip and will bring together Perth’s creative industry leaders and emerging talent for an inspiring evening of creativity and celebration.
“The creative work coming out of WA is exceptional,” says Laura Vulling, PADC General Manager.
“With a record number of entries this year, we’re excited to honour the creators, makers, and dreamers who have pushed boundaries and redefined the possibilities of commercial creativity in their respective fields.”
In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening will feature exclusive live performances, exhibition of the work, an appearance from this year’s Chair of Judges, Adam Ferrier, and the reveal of a new gold skull trophy.
“We’ve entered an exciting new era for the PADC, and the 2024 Skulls will reflect the passion and vision of our dedicated committee and members. We’ve crafted an evening that promises to surprise, inspire, and capture the true magic of creativity. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”
The entries spanned a range of disciplines from film, radio and audio, print and design, digital and technology, craft, and the Student Skulls. The Club has also introduced a number of new categories for social media, brand and campaign strategy sub-categories, including two new Diamond Skulls. They aim to recognise the outstanding individual talents for Strategist of the Year and The Mettle Skull which acknowledges a client who has championed innovation and bravery in commercial creativity.
PADC members will enjoy discounted ticket prices, with details of the Youngbloods afterparty being released shortly.

$335 for a ticket? Cost of living crisis?
Unrelated question, anyone wanting foot pics?
Not the museum again!
I thought the format was changing and moving away from Frasers to make it affordable?
Plus saving money on overseas judges etc. where’s the savings?
Firstly thanks to everyone on the committee who has given of their time and passion to help organise this event and awards. It is important to the WA industry that it is a success. Sadly I won’t be able to attend due to the price. It is the same for Oasis. The events are just becoming too expensive for working people to attend. I’m not sure how the ticket price can get to $377 and $321 but I am sure that the industry, the PADC and everyone attending would be better off if the event was a little more humble and a little more affordable for people. That way we would get more people attending and engaging and participating – isn’t that part of the purpose. Please for next year can we strive to make it more financially accessible?
Wasn’t it the same last yr? I dunno..I’m a designer
and my salary isn’t the best and I get that it’s expensive but it’s a huge night out. So sounds good to me..you get what you pay for? Ps send me foot pics
I’m out. For the first time in a long time I won’t be going. Too expensive. entries are too expensive. Too many awards. Not many people paying attention on the night.
Less Awards, less cost, less people, more attention on the work.
