The Oasis Committee partner with Clockwork Films WA and cowboys for 2025 welcome video
Ahead of the 2025 Oasis Ball, the committee partnered with Clockwork Films WA and director duo cowboys (Luke Hackett and Alex Gibbs) to produce the hyped welcome video for screening on the night.
This year’s vision was to shine a light on the magic that happens before the curtain rises – the chaos, nerves, anticipation and drama that fuel a Broadway show coming to life.
To achieve this, Clockwork Films WA and cowboys turned industry professionals into Broadway characters, actors and stage crew, each with their own quirks, anxieties and moments of triumph against the backdrop of His Majesty’s Theatre.
“It was a privilege to have access to His Majesty’s Theatre to create our behind-the-scenes theatrical world. We also really appreciated our cast of industry legends getting into character, some of them even going full method,” says Hackett, one half of the director duo.
But the ensemble effort wasn’t just in front of the camera.

“From the onset crew to the live jazz musicians that played the score, it was a real team effort with everyone giving their all in the name of a good cause,” says Gibbs.
The Oasis Committee would like to extend thanks to Clockwork and cowboys, support from our production partners enables the best quality event for our industry, while raising funds for The Salvation Army.
Eloise Cribb, Oasis Committee member and Senior Account Director at The Brand Agency, said: “From the outset, Alex, Luke, Anouk and Katie all showed an incredible amount of passion and care for the work. As a committee we were overwhelmed with the investment not only from the Clockwork team, but the wider WA production industry who donated their time and expertise to bring this to life.
“A big thank you also goes out to our 22-industry talent who stepped out of their comfort zones, and into the spotlight.”

Introduced for the first time in 2024, the welcome video of the ball has quickly become a highly anticipated addition for attendees. If you’re interested in partnering with the Oasis Committee for 2026 – please reach out to Eloise Cribb.
