“The Nine Zone” a popular drawcard at the 2024 Perth Royal Show

Nine Perth is the only television broadcaster with an interactive precinct to entertain and engage showgoers at this year’s Perth Royal Show.

Situated in a new location near the main arena close to the Showgrounds train station gate, this year’s “Nine Zone” offers experiences, meet-and-greets, giveaways and prizes including Sealink ferry tickets to Rottnest Island, in-season family movie passes, pots of colour from The Garden Gurus as well as the popular Channel 9 Showbag.

The 9News marquee invites guests into the world of television, where showgoers have the unique opportunity to sit behind the news desk and read their own mini-bulletin under the studio lights. Their news clip is recorded and sent to them by email and SMS to share freely with family and friends.

Nine’s favourite personalities have been visiting the precinct this week to meet viewers, including 9News Perth’s Tracy Vo, Monika Kos, Natalia Cooper, Paddy Sweeney and Matthew Pavlich as well as entertainment stars Ronnie & Georgia from The Block and Shane & Dianne from LEGO Masters.

The Nine Zone is a free event, open every day of the Perth Royal Show at Claremont Showgrounds, 10am – 5pm.
