THE 2019 OASIS BALL + CAMPAIGN BRIEF AWARDS ALL SET TO take off on Friday NIGHT. IF YOU’RE COMING ALONG, HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
Just a couple of days to go until the WA advertising and media industry’s night of nights – the 2019 Oasis Ball + Campaign Brief Awards hosted this year by Nine’s Tony Jones and Scherri-Lee Biggs.
Here’s all the details you need to know.
The Ballroom at Crown Towers from 7.00pm
We’re in the Crown Towers Ballroom, commencing at 7.00pm. Of course, if you want to come earlier, Crown has lots of great bars to have a ‘starter’ in with your buds.
Doors will open at 7.15 and you’ll need to be in and seated by 7.30. We need to get the show on the road! Tickets – and wrist bands – please Tickets and all-important wrist bands are being distributed now. Being in such a public place security will be very tight, so you must be wearing your wrist band to gain access.
Bring some money – folding and gold coins required
Remember, the Oasis Ball is in support of our charity – The Salvation Army’s Crossroads West programme – so we need your help. There’s lots happening throughout the event for a gold coin donation, so bring some…or a lot!
There will be two photo booths thanks to SBS and News Corp. Make sure to get a Facebook-worthy photo with your colleagues to remember the night by.
The oOh! Media bar will be serving two special cocktails for a gold coin – an Aperol Spritz and a Gin 7 Tonic with an oOh! twist. The bar opens after Part 1 of the Campaign Brief Awards and closes at 12pm but remember, there’s no change, so if you hand over a $50 note The Salvation Army thanks you for your generosity!
The 96fm Ball Bit will be the ultimate place for you and your crew for the ultimate gram experience hashtag OASISBALL19, so dive in! It’s tap-and-go for this one, so make sure your credit card is at the ready. N.B. There is a code of conduct in the ball pit; no drinks, respect for one another and throwing the balls will have you tossed from the ball pit quicker than you can sink beneath the surface
Best Dressed at the Ball
If you’re feeling particularly glamorous or suave, make sure you get one of your mates to snap you, then send the photo to perth@campaignbrief.com. You never know, you could win a $500 shopping card for Claremont Quarter.

The Campaign Brief Awards
The Campaign Brief Awards will once again be presented, in two parts. Part 1 will showcase 11 exclusive creative awards for Best of Year across Press, Radio, Television, Out of Home, Experiential, Digital, Data and Integrated Campaign. Part 2 will showcase our 7 industry awards: Supernova of the Year, Media Organisation of the Year, Helen Filov Media Agency of the Year, Challenger or Specialist Agency of the Year, Ad Person of the Year, Advertiser of the Year and Agency of the Year.
As always, there will be plenty of surprises and lots to celebrate.
A short, sharp, brilliant Major Auction
It’s a much shorter Major Auction this year with 5 lots to go under the hammer on the night. They include:

• a Hong Kong weekend extravagance for 2 valued at $5,999;
• a Tripadeal Travel voucher valued at $10,000;

Party After the Party
The main part of the evening will be all done-and-dusted by around 11.00pm. But then the epic After Party by WA Billboards kicks-off and kicks-on until 2.00am, with some very cool tunes from Luke Million.
Val Morgan will keep you fuelled to 2:00am with late night choc tops and popcorn, plus the chance to win a $500 petrol voucher and free movies for a year!
Get out
Last drinks will be served at 1.45am and the whole event concludes at 2.00am. But hey – you’re at Crown so there are plenty of places to go if you want to keep going. There’s always a few people who put in a huge effort and see the sun come up on Saturday. Whenever you leave, please make sure you get home safely. We want you back next year.
