Seven West Media launches Ashes series with star-studded event at Crown Mansions

Seven West Media recently welcomed more than 150 clients, partners and members of the 7Cricket commentary team to an exclusive Ashes series launch event at Crown Mansions. The event was held on Thursday 20th, ahead of day one of the first Ashes Test between England and Australia.

Hosted by 7NEWS Sports Presenter Ryan Daniels, the event featured an outstanding panel discussion with cricket icons Stuart Broad, Justin Langer, Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden. The panel unpacked key storylines, shared inside perspectives and offered predictions ahead of what promises to be a blockbuster summer of cricket on Seven and 7plus Sport.

Guests were also able to connect with the full 7Cricket broadcast team, including Ricky Ponting, Alison Mitchell, Tim Lane, James Brayshaw, Stuart Broad, Aaron Finch, Justin Langer, Matthew Hayden, Greg Blewett, Trent Copeland, Simon Katich, Damien Fleming and Callum Ferguson.

To coincide with Day One of the Test, The West Australian released a free 56-page Official Ashes Series Guide in Friday’s edition. The guide features exclusive commentary from leading cricket voices, including Justin Langer, David “Bumble” Lloyd, Mitchell Johnson and renowned cricket journalist, Gideon Haigh, along with Ashes history, key moments, and comprehensive player analysis.
