Seven hits new high in Regional WA ratings

The Seven Network has once again cemented its position as the clear number one in Regional Western Australia, with new data from Survey 5 (15 June – 12 July) confirming an audience share of 70.4%.

Driven by the strength of the station’s News and AFL coverage, Seven dominated the Top 20 most-watched programs across the region, claiming 17 of the top 20 titles, including the top four spots overall.

7NEWS remains the program of choice for viewers, with Sunrise a clear #1 for breakfast and The 1% Club, topping entertainment. AFL continues to be a powerhouse for the network, with Seven’s live AFL broadcasts delivering 7 of the top 20 most-watched programs for the period.

Seven’s local news also continues to grow, with 7NEWS Regional WA hosted by Noel Brunning, surging into the region’s top three programs – proving once again the vital role trusted local reporting plays for communities across WA.

Seven Network West Australian Sales Director, Damian Hampson, said: “This is a result we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a testament to our unbeatable content mix – delivering the news and sport that regional audiences rely on, day in and day out.”

Seven’s commercial share of 70.4% is a commanding lead over WIN (21.6%) and 10 West (8.0%).
