PerthNow Local Newspapers announces expansion to its pick up point locations

PerthNow Local Newspapers are now also available to readers in three major retailers across Perth including Woolworths, The Foodary and Jim Kidd Sports.

With 1,093 pick-up points across Perth expanding the entire metropolitan area from Yanchep and Two Rocks in the north to Kwinana and Mandurah in the south, PerthNow Local prides itself on helping readers connect with their local businesses and community.

Of these 1,093 locations, readers can find their copy at 85 Woolworths stores, 61 The Foodary locations based at Ampol service stations, and 9 Jim Kidd sporting outlets across Perth.

Being one of Perth’s most recognised online brands, transforming PerthNow into a hyper-local print offering provides advertisers with an engaging and unique product tailored specifically to the Perth metro market.

PerthNow Local gives readers access to the latest community news on residents and businesses and covers an array of topics including local current affairs, sports, lifestyle, motoring, and real estate.

PerthNow Local newspapers editor Arylene Westlake-Jennings said it was a major coup for the 10 PerthNow mastheads to secure the 155 extra pick-up points.

“Having established a strong presence in Perth’s suburban communities, it’s fantastic we can continue our commitment to our dedicated readership by expanding our distribution network and increasing our presence alongside some of WA’s most trusted brands,” she said.

“It’s a no-brainer to leverage these valued local businesses alongside one of WA’s most loved and vibrant brands in PerthNow as we continue to keep our communities informed with the latest news from their neighbourhoods that are most important to them.”

Regional & PerthNow Advertising Director Megan Tuckey said the company was incredibly proud to have PerthNow Local available at over 1,000 locations throughout the Perth metro area.

“We continue to reinvigorate our distribution model, no longer relying solely on traditional methods meaning our papers are more accessible than ever with the addition of premium pick-up points & digital editions” she said.

“For our advertising partners, our commitment and focus on these strategies means that we’re increasing their potential to connect their brands with our engaged readers, whether their copy of PerthNow is delivered to their home, picked up at one of WA’s biggest retailers or read online.”
