&Partners help Chicken Treat lure humans

Chicken Treat has launched the new Xtreme Cheese via &Partners. The burger, loaded with cheddar, Cheezy Sauce, mac ‘n’ cheese balls, and topped with a cheesy sourdough bun, is a captivating prospect for hungry cheese lovers.
Chicken Treat Head of Marketing, David Harrison, said: “This is the most indulgent burger offering we’ve ever created, so the brief to &Partners was to honour the premium food credentials without compromising our irreverent brand personality. As usual, the ask was to take the incredible food seriously… but not ourselves.”
The TV, social, online video and outdoor campaign features a mesmerised young man, risking it all for a taste of the Xtreme Cheese Double. The TV commercial was directed by Matt Pitcher at Felt Content.
“Once again, Chicken Treat challenged us to cut through the quick-service-restaurant clutter and take on the big budget brands with a bigger idea. It’s always a tough brief but hugely rewarding to push the category norms, while putting beautiful looking food at the heart of the idea. We’re lucky to have partners like Director Matt Pitcher and the one and only Ursula Nairn.” Said &Partners, Creative Directors, Bryan Dennis and Dav Tabeshfar.

How is it the indies are doing all the best work in WA? &partners, Moonsail, Significant other, Block… It’s great, but also a bit worrying for the industry, and our ability to keep hold of bigger clients in WA. They should probably merge into a a kind of super-indie. They’d clean up – or just become average…
Winter is coming.
The reason they’re doing great is because they’re creative-led and without the hordes of suits mismanaging the work and diluting it every step of the way…
So good! Next time someone says advertising doesn’t work, tell them to call me – because I’m gonna buy and eat that burger.
This is truly amazing and memorable work. Hats off to all the indies out there, you are dominating the industry.
So good!
I agree there is good work coming out of these smaller places, but I think the work recently posted by 303ML for Lotteries and Brand Hunger work, is very good too.
Fair call. Lotteries stuff is good – and for extra points, it’s paid work for a ‘real client’.
Aaargh this is brilliant!!! We’ll done all, how great is the key visual? Wonderful idea.
As much as I love seeing our Indies doing well and enjoy bashing the big guys is popular… I do feel your commentary deserves response out of respect for all our friends and colleagues whom work tirelessly at those agencies.
Indies and the larger agencies service very different client needs. They’re not in direct competition at all.
They can (and should) support each other for the health of the wider industry – allowing all sizes of agency to flourish.
In-fighting does not best serve the industry to defend itself from the larger threat of external competition.
As per your comment in regard to losing clients over east, there has been many larger clients returning West. RAC for example. In regard to creative, a search on BestAds shows The Brand Agency as the highest ranked in WA, which might also suggest they are leading the charge on the creative front.
Let’s celebrate the creative wins of all our agencies, all of whom work hard to do the best work they can.
Only then can we raise the standards of WA as a whole and garner genuine respect on the national and international stage.
Big and small, love em all.
Best of luck to all the agencies this Friday.
Thats a very reasonable mature argument. Point taken.
Sounds like a writer, great sentiment.
So glad Chicken Treat moved away from that animated chicken. Loving what they put out these days!
