Our State on a Plate returns for its highly anticipated 11th series, celebrating the best of West Australian food, drink, and local producers. Premiering on Sunday, August 31 at 5.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now, the series once again showcases the rich stories, seasonal ingredients, and passionate people shaping the state’s culinary landscape.

Hosted by renowned WA chef and restaurateur Stuart Laws, the series also welcomes back familiar faces including Trevor Cochrane and Chrissy Morrissy, as well as passionate home cook and television personality Alex Crisp and creative food consultant Caroline Taylor, each bringing their own unique insight and passion to the stories behind our state’s vibrant food scene.

In the premiere episode, Stuart showcases creative ways to make the most of WA’s fresh, seasonal fruits with simple yet impressive ideas perfect for Spring entertaining.

Meanwhile, Trevor shines a spotlight on Geraldton’s own Batavia Brewing Co, a local success story that started in a backyard shed and has grown into a beloved community hub.

Chrissy takes us to the heart of the Swan Valley to visit Sandalford Estate, where vines have thrived since 1840. This iconic, family-owned venue is known for its award-winning wines, fine dining, and standout events. With accolades including a Chef’s Hat and multiple WA Caterer of the Year titles, Sandalford continues to raise the bar for food, wine, and hospitality in the region.

From vineyards and breweries to innovative chefs and seasonal plates, Our State on a Plate continues to celebrate everything that makes WA taste so good.
