Nova 93.7 bounces back to #1 spot in Perth radio survey 8, 2020

Nova 93.7 has rebounded from #2 overall to return to the #1 title in GfK Radio Survey 8, 2020 released today.
The previous Gfk Radio Survey 7 showed 96fm taking out #1 spot, recording a 13.2% Share, with Nova 93.7 slipping -0.4% to 12.5% and Mix 94.5 on 12.0% (-0.7).
In this latest survey, Nova 93.7 has recorded a healthy 1.8% increase to 14.3% overall to regain #1, Mix 94.5, who remained on 12.0%, go ahead of 96fm, who fell -1.9% to 11.3% overall.
hit92.9 maintained its overall share P10+ at 8.7%, ahead of ABC Perth on 8.5% and 6PR on 7.9%.
Nova 93.7 biggest share movement percentage came in people 10-17 (11.2% up), 18-24 (up 6.7%) and people 25-39 (up 2.9%).
96fm went down -5.0% in people 25-39 and -5.6% in people 10-17.
In Breakfast, Nathan, Nat and Shaun increased 1.9% to 15.9% holding onto their #1 spot, ahead of 6PR and Mix 94.5 who each dropped -0.3% to 10.8%. 96fm’s Botica’s Bunch dropped -1.6% to 8.3%.
The survey has reduced importance to Austereo as they are going through massive rebrands with both stations, and it will be interesting to see their impact in Survey 1, 2021.
