Nova 93.7 and 96FM record gains in GFK Radio Survey 1 for 2025 to claim #1 and #2 overall

The first GFK radio survey for the year has seen Nova 93.7 enjoy the largest increase overall, to secure #1 with a 16.3% share. 96FM, with a 14.6% share, has also seen an increase and retained #2, ahead of Mix 94.5.
Nova 93.7 enjoyed a big increase in 40-54, gaining 5.8% to 18.1% and taking out the largest share in the demographic. They’ve also seen increases in 25-39 (3.1%) and 18-24 (2.0%). The station dropped 6.1% in 10-17, although still convincingly hold the largest share in the demographic, with 31.5%.
96FM has increased 0.5% overall with their largest increase is in 18-24 (2.1%). They have also had small increases in 10-17, 55-64 and 65+.
With 11.7% overall, Mix 94.5 has ranked #3 overall, with a small drop of 0.8% since the last survey. Mix gained 3.6% in 10-17, and hold the 2nd highest share with 18.5%. Mix’s 16.8% share in 18-24 (down 4.4%), sees them hold onto 2nd in the demo, 5.3% ahead of 96FM.
92.9 Triple M recorded a 8.1% overall share, dipping slightly from 8.5% previously. The station enjoyed increases in 10-17 (2.2%), 40-54 (0.9) and 55-64 (1.5).
6PR holds a 7.1% overall share, with healthy gains in 40-45 (3.5%) and 18-24 (1.2%).
6IX saw an overall increase of 0.5% to record a share of 5.4% overall. The station saw good increases in the 18-24 (2.7%) and 40-54 (2.8%) demographics.
