Nine’s Scott Cam in Perth to celebrate The Block’s milestone 20th season

One of Australia’s most loved and recognised personalities, Scott Cam, arrived in Perth this week to celebrate the new season of The Block, with an exclusive media and client party held at Pooles Temple at the State Buildings in the CBD on Wednesday night.

Hosted by 9News Perth’s Monika Kos, guests enjoyed Cam’s candid insight about the new series which has already taken Australia by storm, with five duos tasked with transforming five luxury family holiday homes on Phillip Island.

WA Blockheads Jesse and Paige were also at the event and spoke about their excitement when selected to be part of the TV juggernaut and their week one journey on the show.

Guests at The Block Party included media from Mix94.5, Triple M, Smooth FM, HITWA, 6IX and Have A Go News, together with local trade guests from Sealink, Business News, RMHC WA, Royal Agricultural Society of WA, Initiative, Neve Media and Match & Wood.

Cam said: “I always love coming to Perth and spending time here. The support we receive in this market is phenomenal. Thank you for helping make The Block such a success and to be here, celebrating 20 seasons, is truly humbling.”

The Block continues to deliver for Nine Perth. On Wednesday night it was the winning entertainment program locally across all key demos, People 25-54, 16-39, GS18+ and Total People, securing a Total TV reach of 127,000 viewers.

It continues Sundays at 7pm, then Mondays to Wednesdays at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
