Nine showcases its programming slate for 2022 at the Perth Upfront
Nine unveiled its programming slate for 2022 in Perth yesterday afternoon at the Nine Upfront with a viewing event at Palace Cinema, attended by guests from agencies, trade and the media.
This year Nine launched new formats that were a hit with viewers: the gripping, landmark investigative series, Under Investigation with Liz Hayes, and The Hundred with Andy Lee, gauging the pulse of the nation. We felt the sting of CEO Lord Alan Sugar, the feared British billionaire and business magnate as he bruised a few egos in the boardroom with a record-breaking season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, while the nation fell in love with the heartfelt series of the year, Beauty and the Geek.
Yesterday’s Upfront saw Nine showcase its line up for 2022, which kicks off with the summer of tennis in with the ATP Cup and Brisbane International, before the return of audience favourites such as Married at First Sight, The Block, Lego Masters, and Australian Ninja Warrior, along with new premium programming including Underbelly: Vanishing Act,After The Verdict, and Buying Byron.
