Nine Radio appoints Brad Pottinger as 6PR Perth’s new Content Manager

Nine Radio this week announced Brad Pottinger as 6PR’s new Content Manager. Born and bred in Perth, Pottinger brings with him a wealth of industry experience spanning almost 20 years both on and off the air.

His media career began at SCA in North Queensland, working a variety of roles including hosting breakfast in Cairns.

He then returned home to WA to take on the role of Assistant Content Director and Music Director at SCA Bunbury, before moving to Perth’s 96FM (ARN) working as an announcer with experience across all shifts including Breakfast, during his time.

He has spent the last seven years at 6IX (Capital Radio Network) and in his role as Program Director he led the station to claim its first ACRA Award for Best Music Special in 2020/2021.

Pottinger said: “6PR has been an instrumental part of Perth for over 90 years and it’s a privilege to join Nine Radio and lead the 6PR team, many of whom I already know well, as we reset the station for an exciting 2025.”

Pottinger will commence as 6PR Content Manager on Monday, December 16.
