Nine Perth’s partnership with RMHC WA supports 2023 Ride For Sick Kids
9News Perth’s Paddy Sweeney and Nine Perth Managing Director Clive Bingwa will join a peloton of forty determined cyclists in the annual Ride For Sick Kids WA, helping raise funds for families with sick or injured kids.
Now in its eleventh year, the four-day ride departing today, will see the group of riders journey through the State’s south west, visiting communities who are reliant on RMHC WA services due to impacts of a child’s illness.
Since its inception, the Ride For Sick Kids has helped raise over $3.2 million for RMHC WA.
Sweeney is looking forward to supporting the ride for a second year, saying: “It’s an honour and privilege to be involved in such a worthwhile cause, riding alongside inspiring individuals, helping Ronald McDonald House Charities WA and their amazing work supporting families when they need it most.”
Nine Perth is the principal media partner of the event, with Bingwa saying it’s a humbling collaboration with a passionate purpose.
“The team at Nine is proud to support the important work of RMHC WA, helping provide a real difference to the lives of Western Australian families,” he said.
“The Ride For Sick Kids is such an important annual event, and I encourage you to please dig deep and donate.”
