Nic Beer takes over from Katie Trew at The Brand Agency’s production offering, King Street

The Brand Agency has elevated Nic Beer to the Executive Producer role at King Street, the agency’s bespoke production offering. The appointment comes following Katie Trew’s decision to step down and explore other opportunities outside the business.

Founded in 2018, under Trew’s leadership the operation has grown to a full time team of eleven specialists, making it one of Perth’s largest production offerings.

Beer has been working with King Street for over a year now. With a career spanning over 30 years across the Perth, Melbourne and London markets, she brings a wealth of experience to the role and solid working relationships within the Perth industry.

Beer said: “I’ve got to know the team, capabilities and clients really well over the last 18 months. I’m looking forward to diversifying our offering with a focus on delivering the highest quality work.”

Trew added that she was proud of what had been built with King Street over the past five years, commenting: “It’s been an enormous privilage to lead the King Street team through it’s first five years. In that time we have produced outstanding campaigns for so many great clients, including WA Tourism, Road Safety Commission, RAC and Kleenheat. The highlight for me however has been watching our incredible young West Australian production talent thrive within the environment we created at King Street. I look forward to watching this continue under Nic’s capable leadership. They are in very good hands.”

King Street is part of The Brand Agency and WPP.
