New PADC website launches to become WA’s hub for commercial creativity

The Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) has launched their brand new website, marking the first major redesign in more than a decade.

Built to serve as a central hub for WA’s commercial creativity community, the new design focuses on collaboration, inspiration, and connection.

“Our goal was to build a hub that truly reflects the people and industry we represent. PADC is a club built by the people for the people, and this new site turns that vision into a valuable resource for everyone in our vibrant creative community.” said Laura Vulling, PADC General Manager.

The new online hub includes access to the latest industry news and PADC events, a refreshed member directory, and a go-to resource to source creative contacts. This site was designed to encourage collaboration across all creative disciplines and levels, representing an important step for PADC and the WA creative industry.

The strength of the PADC has always come from the dedication of its committee, subcommittees and partners who champion both the club and the wider industry. After years in the making, the new PADC website has been brought to life by Start, led by Neil Mason and his talented team. Their work has earned them a Webby Award on the international stage, as well as multiple Australian Web Awards.

Guided by PADC Digital and Technology Lead, Maurice Melchers, the project came full circle with the involvement of former Student Skulls winner, Aisha Runowanda, now working alongside the Start team. From award recipient to helping shape the club’s digital future, her journey reflects the kind of growth and opportunity PADC exists to foster.

“Working with Start on the new website has been an incredible journey. This collaboration is something we are deeply proud of because it captures the creative spirit that PADC stands for,” said Maurice Melchers, PADC Digital and Technology Lead.
