Maya Halilovic joins We Are Pi Amsterdam
Former 303 MullenLowe Perth creative Maya Halilovic has moved to Amsterdam to join We Are Pi.
After graduating from Curtin University Halilovic started her career in 2015 as an intern at Meerkats, before moving to JWT London, where she twice won a D&AD ‘New Blood’ pencil and took second place in the 2017 UK Cannes Young Lions print competition. In 2018 she created viral sensation The-Not-So-Beautiful-Game, highlighting the increase in domestic violence around football matches. Since then she’s gone on to have a meat pie blessed by the Vatican and is still banned from AirBnb after listing the Manus Island Detention Centre as a 5-star holiday stay.
She returned to Perth and re-joined Meerkats in 2019 before joining 303 MullenLowe in early 2020. In 2020 she also launched wowstudiowow, a multidisciplinary design space, and published LGBT+ trail guides in an effort to encourage people to democratise outdoor spaces.
We Are Pi client partners include Amazon, Nike, IDFA, Heineken, Intersport, Pepsico and Patagonia. We Are Pi was named Small Agency of the Year 2018, 2019 and 2020 by Creative Pool and Ad Age.

Such a great person and talented creative. Go get ‘em Maya!
Perth talent punches (Sorry Will Smith) well above its weight globally. There’s a long list of exports who have done so well. Good work Maya.
Nice one Maya! Give the Pope a high five from Riks and I when you next swing by the Vatican…
