Local media party at Nine Perth’s big launch of Married At First Sight 2025
The hottest ticket in town this week was a seat at Nine Perth’s highly anticipated long table dinner party launch to preview episode 1 of the new series of Married At First Sight alongside the show’s relationship expert, John Aiken.
Nine also introduced one of the five WA participants vying for love this year, 31-year-old Carina, whose wedding will feature in the must-watch premiere episode.
Tuesday night’s launch event, hosted by Nine Perth’s Head of Marketing, Communications and TV Programming, Peter Brennan, welcomed 40 guests including key clients, partners and media from Mix 94.5, Triple M, 96fm, Nova, 6PR, 6iX, Campaign Brief WA and Have A Go News.
A high-end three-course meal was served, indicative of a true wedding reception, in The Mark private dining room at The State Buildings in the CBD.
Following the screening, Aiken hosted a candid Q&A session with guests, answering an array of questions giving unique behind-the-scenes insight, highlighting why this series is always a must-watch.
The team from Sealink also donated a special door prize, with Luke Masala from The Brand Agency winning the pack which included four return ferry tickets to Rottnest Island.
Last year, MAFS increased its full season average audience year-on-year in Perth by +4.7%, helping boost the 9Network’s 2024 share growth locally year-on-year with ALL key demos and Total People across the calendar year – the only commercial broadcast network to do so in Perth.
The TV juggernaut, which has also claimed the crown as Perth’s highest-rating reality program the last 3 years in a row, will return for its twelfth series on Monday, January 27 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now. This series also celebrates its triumphant tenth year on Australian screens.
