Liquor Barons and AT Creative toast the King with a cheeky topical campaign

As the pomp and ceremony was reaching fever pitch in the UK, Perthians were served a special invitation from Liquor Barons to purchase ‘everything to toast the King.’

 

The campaign appeared on social media and outdoor sites around the city and down south on Saturday, it raised a few chuckles, eyebrows, and glasses over the weekend.

AT Creative Director, Andrew Tinning, said: “I’ve always loved doing topical ads. They’re a great way for a brand to show their sense of humour and gain attention that they wouldn’t have achieved ordinarily. Digital out-door sites are brilliant for this type of work, as available space and a simple file is all that’s required. Thanks to JCD, oOH and Go for your help on this.”

Liquor Barons, Marketing Manager, Lisa Hegarty, said: “When AT presented us with Cheer Big Ears, we all laughed spontaneously. The use of this particular piece of Aussie vernacular to mark the occasion was the perfect fit for us, and the reaction has been great.”
