Juicebox, Kiosk and Likeable Creative join IN:WA

The independent advocacy group has welcomed three new agencies into its ranks: Juicebox, Kiosk, and Likeable Creative.

Formed at the end of 2021, IN:WA provides a united voice for Western-Australian-owned businesses across the breadth of the creative communications industry, including Advertising, Branding, Media, PR and Production. The group of like-minded businesses work with government and the private sector to advocate for the role members play in strengthening and diversifying the WA economy and building a creative state where people desire to live and work.

New member, Kiosk, highlighted the importance of speaking as one.“It’s clear that people in our industry are pretty passionate about supporting WA based creative and production companies. Having a strong unified voice that promotes and protects independent local businesses like Kiosk, so we can have a thriving industry, is more important than ever. We’re proud to be on board,” says Tom Wilson (pictured right), Creative Director and Co-Founder of Kiosk.

The team at Likeable look forward to the collaboration and inter-agency support membership will offer.“As a WA-owned creative business, of course we want to be part of a group promoting WA-owned creative businesses! We look forward to sharing ideas and experiences with the other local business owners and, hopefully, help to keep our industry thriving,” says Malcolm MacLean (pictured middle), Managing Creative Director of Likeable Creative.

Joel Pember (pictured left), Founding Director of Juicebox, said: “Strength in numbers – We’re proud to be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with like-minded independents.”

The three new members were officially welcomed into IN:WA at the Board meeting today.

Natalie Jenkins, Chair of IN:WA, said: “These new members come at a pivotal time for independents. Support for the local creative communications sector has never been a hotter topic of discussion and it’s a conversation we intend to keep alive. WA has an abundance of established and emerging independent creative talent who deserve a strong, united voice in their corner.”

IN:WA is currently seeking views of the independent sector through an online survey and encourages businesses to contribute: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7DXMRG9. Businesses interested in IN:WA membership are invited to inquire at www.in-wa.com.au.
