John ‘Burgo’ Burgess returns to Perth’s 6iX

John “Burgo” Burgess is back where he belongs, on Forever Classic 6iX, with a brand new show, “Saturday Morning with Burgo,” airing every Saturday from 8am to midday.

Kicking off this Saturday, November 1, Burgess will bring listeners a lively mix of stories from his career, news from around Perth, and plenty of his trademark quick wit. It’s the perfect way for Perth to kick off the weekend – classic ‘Burgo’ style.

Plus, of course, lots of great “Forever Classic” music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – including some of Burgess’ hand-picked favourites.

Burgess said: “It’s a fantastic feeling to be returning to 6iX, a place where I’ve built so many great memories over the years. I love that in 2025 I can continue to make new memories with the people of Perth – and just have a bit of fun each Saturday!”
